Monofin Classic - Model 2

This is the ideal fin for developing the correct monofin technique. A must for all beginners and a useful tool for experienced monofin swimmers to continue working on their technique. The Model 1 fin has a 70cm wide blade which is slightly wider than the Model 2 which is 66cm and more suited to petite women. The blade is hand tapered yellow or black fiberglass.

Stiffness Guide

Long Distance / Soft Blade, ideal for long distance finswimmers or recreational freedivers whom intend to use it for long distance open ocean swimming.

Medium Distance/Medium Stiffness Blade, suitable for all freedivers and middle distance finswimmers.

Sprint Distance/Hard Blade, suitable for sprint distance finswimmers. This fin is not normally recommended for freedivers.

Sizing Guide

For freediving or recreational monofinning, we highly recommend ordering one size up. These fins are designed for maximum transmission of energy between the body to fin and therefore the footpockets are designed to be worn tight.

The ‘mm’ refers to the manufactures footpocket sizing, we have added the European size equivalents. If you are not familiar with your European foot size please consult a converter chart.

220mm = EU 35-37

240mm = EU 38-40

260mm = EU 41-42

290mm = EU 43-44

310mm = EU 45

330mm = EU 46+
