Membership Requirements
To become an FII Academy Network facility requires you to fulfill certain obligations to assure that your facility will provide the highest standards of freediving education and support as well as effectively grow and represent the freediving community. Requirements for acceptance include:
Facility must be in business for a minimum of 12 months and have no FII quality assurance violations or open inquiries for at least 12 months prior to application To have at least one active Level 1 and Level 2 instructors on staff To sell and properly display a full range of FII recommended freediving equipment Agreement not to conduct, sponsor or advertise any non-FII freediving training activities To conduct regular non-training freediving activities such as, but not limited to, practice sessions, freediving travel excursions and competitions To teach a minimum of five Level 1 and two Level 2 courses per year To distribute regular communication designed to recruit and retain freediving customers To have all require governmental licenses and permits and comply with all labor laws To have a professional image in retail sales, rentals and service and repair. Maintain a neat, clean and attractive facility.
