SI-Basic Freediving Safety

Assistant Instructor

Originally from Bulgaria, CJ Aldrin learned to freedive and spearfish long before he could walk. The grandson of an Olympic water polo champion and swimmer, he calls the water his home. Being the son of diplomats, he traveled all over the world before settling in Hawaii, where he pursued his passion of freediving and spearfishing. The clear waters surrounding Hawaii were the perfect place to practice and perfects his free diving, as well as being trained by 13 X World Record holder and founder of F.I.I., Martin Stpanek. When CJ is not depth training or spearing dinner for his family, he enjoys giving back to our oceans by eradicating invasive fish. He is committed to teaching the F.I.I. curriculum of safe and efficient freediving.
