Freediving courses, swim and snorkel lessons, whale shark tours, aquatic fitness sessions, aquatic summer camps â?¦ Julie Ann Ferrara - aka Jewels Diver - lives and breathes all things aquatic! In 2006, Jewels took her first freediving course and began to compete internationally. As a former member and record holder of the USA Freediving Team, she now considers herself a retired competitive freediver, finding the joys of freediving instruction much more rewarding. Since getting certified with Fii to teach freediving in 2011, Jewels has pretty much left the SCUBA tanks behind, and is even more motivated to share her love for aquatics with the world. Through recreational freediving, and natural underwater exploration - she is on a mission to have everyone experience the peace and tranquility the underwater realm has to offer. Being an educator at heart with 24 years of experience in the aquatics industry, Jewels hopes to inspire people of all ages to embrace life with an aquatic touch!
