Jeff has been diving and freediving all his life and finds there is nothing more rewarding than sharing his passion and enthusiasm for freediving through teaching. He lives on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii and has trained in freediving all over the USA and Pacific Islands. A highly experienced teaching professional, Jeff is also a scuba instructor with four different scuba agencies and holds the rating of Technical Trimix Instructor. In addition, he teaches all DAN (Divers Alert Network) courses which include: First Aid & CPR, Oxygen Provider, Diver Medicine Levels 1, 2 and 3 plus many others. (DAN.org) He is a passionate competitive freediver and can be found during his spare time hosting open water depth training sessions and pool training sessions for his growing local community. Jeff prefers the competitive edge of a freediving competition and enjoys welcoming beginners into the sport and offering experienced athletes a safe training environment. He has been personally trained by F.I.I. Freediving founder and freediving pioneer, Martin Stepanek who is a 13x world record holder and world freediving champion. He also trains with and has been personally mentored by Guinness Book of world record holder in breath holding, Stig Severinsen, and constantly enjoys expanding his knowledge of modern freediving techniques. Jeff offers private and public F.I.I. freediving courses throughout the Hawaiian Islands and is available to travel for small groups interested in increasing their breath-hold safety and training techniques for spearfishing, freediving and other breath-hold activities.
