Welcome to the FII Tenerife Freediving Camp 2024!
This camp is a way for you to freedive one of the world's most desirable freediving locations and get some of the best freediving instruction/education offered. It is situated in Tenerife (land of the eternal springtime), located in the Canary Islands, Spain. Not only will you have a fantastic freediving experience, but you will also be able to experience the island's natural wonders such as volcanoes, cliffs, forests, and of course, the excellent gastronomy of Spain!
We keep the group small for better personal attention, but it also means a limited number of open spots. So, please do not wait too long to join us. You may miss the opportunity. Catering to an international clientele and all levels of freediving experience, we have assembled the top instructor team with a high level of expertise in various forms of freediving but, most importantly, fun people to hang out with.
Meet the Team
David Cani - Director of FII Europe, FII Instructor Trainer, Head Coach of the Czech Freediving Team (2006,2008,2010), Chief Organizer of Martin Stepanek World Record Events, and Chief Safety Diver. David is known for his expertise in No Fins freediving and extensive knowledge about Dive Propulsion Vehicle Diving (scooters). He is also one of the world's most experienced Rebreather Cave Divers. He has mapped many of Europe's underwater cave systems and also cave systems in the USA. He brings a plethora of knowledge to the table.

Errol Putigna - FII Instructor Trainer, based in Jupiter, Florida. Errol was instrumental in developing the FII Junior Freediver course curriculum and has worked alongside Martin Stepanek since 2008. He is renowned throughout the world for his ability to teach freediving. He teaches almost all levels of recreational and professional FII courses. He is also an underwater photographer and spearfisherman. He is the Principal Organizer of the FII Tenerife and Lanzarote Freediving Camp.

Amro Al-Hamad- FII Freediving Instructor, based in Doha, Qatar. Besides being one of the Middle East's most sought-after freediving instructors and part of the highly successful FII Facility Qatarsub, he is also the Qatari National Freediving Champion in both Variable Weight and No Limits. He was also the winner of Qatar's highly esteemed 2015 pearl diving competition. Amro is also the Assistant Organizer of the FII Tenerife and Lanzarote Freediving Camps.

Video reviews and technical analysis will be provided daily for those who want to hone their technique or work on specific goals. Our afternoons will have some "dry land" programs to maximize your Tenerife experience if you wish to join us.
