Born and raised in Egypt, Rami developed his love for the water since childhood with access to top aquatic facilities in Cairo & access to the Mediterranean and the Red Sea. His love for the water led him to swim competitively in High School and College as well as U.S. Masters. He attained multiple scuba certifications and eventually developed his passion for Freediving and Spearfishing. He was trained by some of the most experienced Freedivers in the world including Martin Stepanek 13 time world record holder & founder of Fii as well as his right hand Errol Putigna one of his most experienced instructor trainers. Rami teaches level 1 Fii classes as well as private classes & practice sessions out of the Red Sea in Egypt, Florida, North and South Carolina. He strives to share his passion for the sport throughout the community and his home country, utilizing Fii teachings and core safety values. On the personal side he enjoys being with his family, wife and kids and leads a career practicing medicine as a physician assistant.
