D'Angelo has been Freediving since he was just a kid. Growing up in South Florida he was always close to the ocean either snorkeling or fishing. The ocean was his kryptonite and once he saw what the ocean could provide he wanted to learn more about it and be safe. He started as a junior Freediver with FII when he was only 14, this allowed him to gain a respect and love for the ocean at a young age. When Freediving he was able to see how local marine life treats you as a resident instead of a visitor when Freediving. Freediving is all that D'Angelo has known for most of his life. He gets enjoyment out of seeing what people learn about what the body is capable of so this instantly drew him to become an instructor. When D'Angelo isn't teaching classes he can be found spearfishing, running practice trips or having fun with underwater photography which can be found on his instagram (@dangelo_pulliza).
