Jack is a deep freediver, spearfisherman, ocean guide, and sailor. Passionate in pursuit of depth and sea experience, he is devoted to becoming a model well-rounded waterman. Jack has learned under the direct tutelage of 13x WR holder and FII founder Martin Stepanek and was the first instructor certified by 6x USA NR holder, Daniel Koval. Grounded in an ocean state of mind, Jack is eager to share all he's learned from his time in the sea. Like many students, Jack had unknowingly accumulated years of experience. It took only proper training and a bit of dedication for him to unleash what is in all of us. Jack spent his youth in pools and on the inland lakes of the midwest, particularly Grand Lake in Oklahoma. He would see how many times he could swim back and forth across the pool while holding his breath underwater. Jack?s father taught him how to pull himself down to the bottom of the lake along an anchor line, ascending with a rock to prove he had made it to the bottom. Jack has since made Hawai'i home, training regularly with Martin Stepanek to progress as a deep diver. When not in or on the ocean, he spends time with his partner and their two rescued golden retrievers. Jack is available for private courses and training worldwide.
