Veronica was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Being in the water is a way of life for her. Most of her time growing up was spent on or in the water playing Find The Treasure with her family. The beginning stages of her freediving experience was playful and recreational. As an adult she worked as a pearl diver for entertainment purposes at a theme park in Orlando, FL. Once she moved to Hawai?i she learned there is an underwater culture beyond recreational diving and entertainment. She learned many people used freediving to provide for their families and competitively others use it to challenge their bodies at depths most people fear. This extension of the underwater world is what inspired her to take her Level 1 course. The techniques and the connection needed with our bodies to be more efficient underwater motivated her to take the Level 2 and 3 courses which allowed her to explore deeper environments. Her desire to share with others her love and respect for the ocean ignited the path toward becoming a freediving instructor. Educating others on how to explore the underwater world is key for long term enjoyment of our oceans. With Veronica you will learn how to use freediving skills and techniques to become a more efficient hunter, extend your recreational experience, explore your competitive nature, and be a top level safety. She invites you to challenge your mind and your bodies so you can enjoy the whole world beneath the sea. ?New depths are waiting for you.? For courses in Spanish please reach out via email.
