# 0 Level 2 Freediver

Instructor: Joe D'Agostino

I am disappointed in my level II instructor, Mr. D'agostino. I took his level I class and passed it. He rushed us through the classroom work and the pool work. His attitude was here it is, if you don't get it the first time, that's too bad. Same thing in our open water dives the next day. Seems he was more concerned about selling a four wheeler. I passed, but felt that his professionalism as an instructor was lacking. The whole time he was teaching he acted like he wanted to be somewhere else. Then, a year later, I signed up for his level II class. We can all have an off weekend, so I decided on giving him a second chance. Unfortunately during the level II class I saw no improvement in his attitude towards some of his students. He definitely showed favoritism. Again, it was, "here it is: if you get it good, if not, hard luck." Due to a sinus condition and unfavorable open water conditions I was not able to make my deep dive. He has been recalcitrant in accommodating me in arranging a make-up dive. His standard answer on why he doesn't make a better effort is "I have kids to feed." He doesn't always answer emails or texts.

# 0 Level 1 Freediver

Instructor: Matthew Pasa

Matt Pasa's Level 1 Freediver course at Florida Freedivers in North Palm Beach was absolutely incredible. Matt delivered a tremendous amount of information in an easy-to-understand format, with great delivery, and a fun personality. I would more than highly recommend Matt's Level 1 course for anyone interested in getting started in freediving or building on their foundation of freediving skills.

I had Nico Testa as my Freediving Instructor in Kona. He was awesome. I am a novice free diver, one other student was scuba certified and the other received the class as a birthday gift - Three different levels of experience. Despite our diverse backgrounds on the subject, Nico was 'spot-on' with all of us and made sure that we were safe. He is a great teacher to address different skill levels. Thanks to Nico, I am able to reach 20 meters comfortably, feel much more confident in recognizing and assisting in shallow water blackout situations. "Fins-off' to Nico. This is a must have course for any freediver.

The course is comprehensive and taught me so much. I have so much more confidence in the water now and know how to safely practice this sport. Ryan Keene is a gifted teacher and amazing diver.

# 0 Level 1 Freediver

Instructor: Nathan Lucas

Hi Nathan and Martin: I enjoyed the level 1 freediver course immensely. I'd recommend the course to anyone. The only bummer was when our time in the ocean ended yesterday :). I was surprised by how much I learned during the course even though I have taken a level 1 & 2 course though a different organization. My freediving has already improved and will continue to do so as I apply what I've learned in the course. I look forward to taking other FII courses (including, but not limited to, level 2) and to hopefully attending the freediving camp in Kona in the next year or so. Thank you both very much! Jeff
